Fibromyalgia Suffering turns into a Blessing

picture of PraiseAfter all of the years of suffering from pain and fatigue and other symptoms of fibromyalgia, I can now actually say that having the symptoms of fibromyalgia have actually been a blessing! It took me years to be able to say that, and it helps that I don’t experience the symptoms anymore, unless I quit my “Recipe for Feeling Fit and Healthy”. The challenges have taught me to seek God daily and to depend on Him and not take life for granted. God has taught me to walk with Him daily and to praise Him in the good times and in the bad and difficult times as well. I have learned how to turn to God and depend upon Him to help me solve problems. All of the pain, fatigue, and other health problems have taught me how to ask God to guide me and direct my research to improve my health. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
Topics Discussed
If God had chosen to heal me instantaneously, which He does with some people, I would not have had the desire to learn about all the topics in this book, Fibromyalgia and Fatigue: A Recipe for Feeling Fit and Healthy. Some of the topics include: helpful tips to reduce and eliminate muscle pain, fatigue, IBS, allergies, eczema, asthma, and unhealthy immune system. Also included is information on colon health, candida, yeast, fungus, pH balance, enzymes, parasites, Lyme Disease, hormone balance, lymphatic system, ATP, detoxifying the body, dangers of stress, importance of sleep, and importance of drinking water.
Choice of Good Health or Poor Health
I feel like I have a choice of being healthy or unhealthy by the lifestyle that I choose to live each day. I find comfort in the words that God said to Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9, 10, “but God said to me (Paul), ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness…for when I am weak, then I am strong.’”
We can fight back with knowledge, wisdom, and the healing power of God. I pray that after reading this book, you will have the knowledge to make good choices about taking care of the body that God designed for you. I pray that you will find hope in getting healthy. Take charge of your health. If I can regain my health, hopefully you can too!
Claim God’s Promises
In the Bible God promises, “For I know the plans I have for you. They are plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you.” Jeremiah 29:11-14.
